Kota Kinabalu, here we come

This was our official honeymoon.. went there for 5 days 4 nights. Sampai KK pon dah malam, merayau carik hotel. Apparently, almost ALL hotels are full sbb there was a ceremony that nite @ KK.. Believe it or not, I think I've travelled all over KK town in just one nite - ON FOOT! Luckily, we managed to get a room at a hotel (forgot the name).. The next day we went to PROMENADE HOTEL (luckily dah book awal-awal). The view from our room was soooo beautiful - facing the ocean.
We didn't have any specific agenda.. Rudy acted as my tourist guide as dia dah berpuluh kali jejak kaki kat KK. We rented a car semata-mata nak pergi Kundasang - Mount Kinabalu. Even though we didn't get the chance to really tengok Mount Kinabalu because of the weather, it was worth the two and a half hours drive to Kundasang..the view was very the beautiful one.. Somehow reminded me of the film 'Heidi' 
Basically, we just went shopping at Pasar Tamu @ Jalan Gaya and Pasar Philippines. Tetiap malam dinner dkt depan Le Meridien (apa tah nama pasar tu).. it was heavenly (especially to those yg hantu seafood).
We didn't get the chance to do much, blame it on the weather  But overall, memang puas hati.. Will definitely go to KK again

Kenduri Menyalang @ Kuala Pilah

i don't know why, but it seems to be the most difficult thing to do nowadays - updating this fotopage hehehe... for those out there yang dok saban hari soh update update update, ni haaa your wish is my command
it seemed like the kenduri was held eons ago, padahal baru lebih kurang 3 bulan yang lepas kan? i know i'm exaggerating but biasalah, musti nak carik alasan jek kan.. hahaha.. okay..lemme try to recap what happened that day...
the weather was promising, that i remember. cerah jek pagi tu... and for a change my mak andam zura has to only siapkan aku sorang the theme was red, and to tell you the truth, up until that day, i didn't even know what my baju look like. but zura assured me that the baju was nice, it was in fact RED, and it is in my size.. and that time i think i didn't have time to be fussy about the ... whereas i had tonnes of other things running in my mind (alasan lagik!)
but the dress turned up fine. at first i thought it was a bit sexy to me (sbb nye aku kan dak kampung..mana reti pakai baju yang dedah2 ni ). but what the heck, the 'show' must go on....
several of my relatives who promised to ikut nyalang couldn't make it in the last minute, so it was just us adik beradik lah.. wif abang lan & family ikut sama.. luckily i have 8 siblings, so kurang satu pon (my sister and family had other urgent matter to attend to) still ramai jugak...wif all my nephews and nieces lagik hehehe..
bersanding session was scheduled at 1pm, so just nice lah kitorang bertolak dari seremban at about 11.30 camtu... we reached rudy's kampung at around 12.45, and stopped dkt simpang sekejap sebab nak kena susun bunga pahar pulak..
biasalah, bila dah jadik pengantin & start berarak tu, all eyes were on us lah... sanding-sanding sekejap, makan-makan sekejap, potong2 kek sekejap, amik2 gambar banyak2 kejap and then say farewell to my family especially to my mom.. takde lah terasa nak menangis macam sesetengah orang tu..mebbe sbb tau my family dekat aje..
and guess what...after semua dah selesai, and we were entertaining the latecomers (note : close friends always tend to datang lambat, konon nak special treatment from the pengantin lah kan??), hujan turun lebat selebat-lebatnye...
overall, Alhamdulillah, all went well..what with incident like takde pengapit (tu pengapit bidan terjun tu, time kasih bebanyak yek dik), takde kipas (konflik mak andam aku ngan tukang buat pelamin dkt pilah), like the saying goes 'All's well Ends well' right?

It was raining heavily that day. Akad nikah was done at Masjid Sungai Landak. The rain seems like a blessing in disguise, because when it's cold, I won't be sweating that much
Bertolak dari rumah at around 4.30pm, and arrived at the mosque at around 4.45pm (gamaknye masjid tu takde ler jauh dari rumah, tapi sbb tunggu org tu ler, tunggu org ni ler..). The akad ran smoothly, with the tok kadi not asking any question to Rudy at all and everybody goes like huh?? (Note: tok kadi tu mmg ada history utk bersyarah & bertanya soalan selama at least 1 hour).
At around 5.05, my status had changed from 'Cik' to "Puan'. SooOooOO unbelievable heheheh... Been waiting for this moment for about 6 years, and yet when it finally came, I had a mixed feelings. Happy - because akhirnye kitorang sah as husband and wife. And sad - because figuratively speaking, as a wife, husband must come first. Tak boleh ler jadik anak mak lagik waaaa...
Hopefully we'll live happily ever after together-gether..
